Following this year, Paul commenced working with the European Clubs, where he first signed with the Xacobeo Blu:Sens. Just four months later, he signed with CB Cajasol Sevilla. 

With Sevilla, Paul played two full seasons before moving to sign with Russian club BC Khimki. After the EuroLeague competition alongside Khimki, he extended his contract with the team two times.

Paul Davis | Retirement 

After spending his last four career seasons with the Khimki, Paul Davis officially announced his retirement on June 27, 2016. Indeed, Paul did retire early at the age of 31, and the reason for his decision was his constant injuries. 

After years of constant pain and struggle, Paul couldn’t perform well as per his strength. Throughout his journey, he has had multiple knee injuries. 

Back then, Davis had twelve holes in his right knee, for which he gained a surgery from the world-renowned Dr. James Andrews. 

According to the sources, Paul Davis’s three cartilage pieces were stuck together and were building over time. After they eventually got loosened up from each other, they then got lodged in his knee. 

Slowly, they started to die, which he knew after the CAT-SCAN. Many had suggested that he dismantle that knee and get them new; however, Paul trusted the surgery in the hands of Andrews. Fortunately, they were successful with it.
