The brother of Pete Alonso, Alex Alonso, previously played lacrosse as a face-off specialist on the Men’s Lacrosse team at Queens University.

Peter Morgan Alonso, known as “Polar Bear,” is an accomplished American professional baseball first baseman who currently plays for the New York Mets in Major League Baseball (MLB).

He started his baseball journey as a college player, where he played for the Florida Gators for three years.

Eventually, Pete started his professional career after being drafted by the New York Mets in the MLB draft in 2016.

Alonso had an exceptional year in 2019 as he was honored with the National League’s Rookie of the Year Award.

His grandfather was from Spain; however, he fled to Queens during the Spanish Civil War and married an Italian woman.

They started dating in 2015 when Haley was studying Journalism and Political Science at Michigan State University.

They tied the knot on November 12, 2021, after being in a relationship for several years.
