He was 16 years old and driving his 2004 Dodge Ram.

Dylan Sotherden Critically Injured in Head-On Crash with ODOT Truck
A 16-year-old Dylan Sotherden is in critical condition after a serious head-on collision with a dump truck on Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred around 7:45 a.m. on October 8 on State Route 146, near mile marker 21.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Sotherden of Cumberland was traveling westbound when his 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 crossed the center line.
His truck then struck an eastbound Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) dump truck head-on.
The driver of the ODOT truck, 45-year-old William Green of Philo, was treated for minor injuries and transferred to Genesis. After the impact, his vehicle veered off the road and overturned.
Meanwhile, Sotherden was flown by helicopter to Grant Hospital in Columbus with serious injuries.

The crash forced the closure of State Route 146 for several hours.
Multiple emergency crews, including the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Wayne and Washington Township Fire and EMS, Muskingum County EMA, ODOT, Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office, and Community Ambulance, responded to the scene.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
