Alan Shearer is a great former footballer who played as a striker. He is widely considered the best striker of his generation and a great player in the Premier League history. He is also the Premier League’s record goalscorer.  He has achieved much by playing football as he was named Football Writers Association Player of the Year in 1994. His achievement was also proved after winning the PFA Player of the Year award in 1995.
