Ismail was born to a proud father, Ibrahim Ismail, and a loving mother, Fatma Ismail. He was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, United States of America but grew up in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Raghib went to Elmer L. Meyers Junior/Senior High School. Ismail wasn’t the only child in the family; he has two brothers, namely Qadry Ismail and Sulaiman Ismail.
