Ray Rice, the former NFL running back, gained notoriety for his achievements on the football field.

Born on January 22, 1987, Rice spent his short-lived professional career with the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL.

Hailing from New Rochelle, New York, he joined Rutgers University, where he became a standout player for the Scarlet Knights.

In 2008, the Baltimore Ravens selected Ray Rice in the second round of the NFL Draft.

Rice etched his name into the annals of Ravens history over the span of six seasons with the franchise.

Likewise, his contributions to the team included three Pro Bowl selections and a pivotal role in securing victory at Super Bowl XLVII.

Sadly, Rice’s career and personal life became intertwined in a domestic violence controversy in 2014. It eventually caused him to announce his retirement in 2018.

Over the years, each sibling has exemplified resilience and determination, carving their paths to success amidst setbacks.

Ray’s guidance even provided his brothers with a foundation upon which they built an athletic interest.
