The man, accompanied by a neighbor, had traveled by boat to have dinner at the Kowaliga Restaurant, a well-known local establishment.
Upon discovering that the restaurant was closed for a private event, the two attempted to return to their boat.
As the man attempted to board, he fell into the water between the boat and the dock.
Despite his friend’s efforts to rescue him, he tragically drowned.
