Romeo Travis is a former professional basketball player who last played for Limoges CSP of the LNB Pro A. Travis was born in Akron, Ohio, on December 10, 1984.
Travis played alongside LeBron James as a high school basketball player at Akron’s St. Vincent–St. Mary High School. There he averaged 17 points and 11 rebounds during his prep career.
As a collegiate, the player went on to become the University of Akron’s all-time blocked shots leader.
As a result, he was the Mid-American Conference Player of the Year and was named an Associated Press All-American as a senior.
The power forward turned professional in 2007 when he joined the Cantabria Lobos in the Spanish division. He played for different clubs in Israel, Yugoslavia, Croatia, Russia, Italy, Germany, and France in his career.
Travis is an American-born naturalized Macedonian. He is currently working as an Assistant Basketball Coach with St. Vincent–St. Mary High School since October 2021.
