The only daughter of the Wilson family, Anna Christine Wilson, was born on 12th July 1997 in Richmond, Virginia to parents Tammy and Harrison Wilson III.

Anna was raised along with her two elder brothers, Harrison and Russell. Her father, Harrison III, passed away at the age of 55.

Wilson’s family members are athletic; her father, Harrison, used to play football and baseball. In 1980 he played at Dartmouth and made the final cut with the San Diego Chargers.

Her brothers, Harrison played football and baseball at Richmond, and Russell is an NFL athlete. He was a starting quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks and is a Super Bowl XLVIII champion.

Her grandfather Harrison Wilson Jr. played basketball and football at Kentucky State and served as a president of Norfolk State University until 1997.

Anna graduated from Bellevue High School in Bellevue, Wash, in 2016 and went to College in Richmond, Virginia.

She played a few games during her first year at Stanford University. But her injuries limited her games and made her miss competitions.

Early Career

As a freshman, she played for Boo Williams Richmond. She recorded 17 assists in her 8th-grade Division I national championship game. There, she won three national championships.

By 2013, Anna participated in the Basketball Women’s U16 national team trials.

She played as a member of the USA Basketball team at the 2014 FIBA U17 World Cup as her team claimed first position in the Czech Republic.

By the end of her high school career, Anna maintained an average of 15.3 points with 4.6 assists, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.2 steals.

She received several honors and is known for her remarkable scores and moves. After an impressive school career, Anna began to have several brand endorsements. 

Besides, she served the Virginia Independent Schools state as a sophomore captain during the semifinals.

Anna also captained the Wolverines with a perfect record of 29-0 and a Washington 3A state title.

Earlier in 2016, she participated in the Pac-12 Tournament, where she played for a total of 48 minutes in all six games.

In 2016, she had to miss about 11 games because of her head and right foot injuries. Her injury occurred during practice for the McDonald’s All-American.

Professional Career

Her first-ever professional match was against UNLV, and she registered eight points.

Anna missed the final seven games after she suffered from a left foot injury.

But, still playing as a junior athlete, Anna had her name in the Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.

She scored 11 points in a Sweet Sixteen victory over Missouri State. The same season, Anna recorded a personal best in a game against the Huskies with three steals.

On May 10, she announced her return for a sixth season at Stanford. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020-2021 season was shortened.

Anna dished her career-high six assists against Eastern Washington and also scored her personal best, including six rebounds twice. She had her career-high four steals against Northern Colorado as well.

As time changed, there was growth in her statistics in every category.

Thus, she maintained a score of 4.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, and with lots of improvement.

Although, Stanford lost in the Final Four, Anna made the Pac-12 All-Defensive team for a second time and finished the season with 4.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.
