Ryan Mallett was an American football quarterback who played in the NFL for the New England Patriots, Houston Texans, and Baltimore Ravens.
He was known for his strong arm and played college football at Michigan and Arkansas.
After playing, he transitioned into coaching and became the head football coach at White Hall High School in Arkansas.

Tragically, Mallett passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 35, due to a drowning accident in Florida.
Reports indicate that he was swimming in the Gulf of Mexico when he struggled to return to shore and was pulled under.

Ryan Mallett’s Parents Were Deeply Supportive Of His Football Career!
In Batesville, Arkansas, Ryan Mallett was born on June 5, 1988, to parents Jim Mallett and Debbie Mallett.
His father, Jim, was a high school teacher and football coach. He had a background in college football, playing for the University of Arkansas.
His experience as a player influenced his later career as a high school football coach, where he mentored young athletes.
Moreover, his coaching career played a significant role in Ryan’s early exposure to football, fostering his skills and passion for the game.
His coaching career spanned multiple schools, including Salem, Lincoln, and Texas High School in Texarkana, Texas, where he taught history and coached football.
He began coaching at Arkansas Tech, where he met Debbie, and later worked in various Arkansas and Texas towns.
Tragically, Jim Mallett passed away in 2019, predeceasing Ryan. His legacy continued through Ryan’s career and the family’s commitment to coaching.

On the other hand, his mother, Debbie, was a teacher, dedicated to education and supporting her children’s growth.
She taught English, journalism, speech, and later special education at Texas Middle School in Texarkana.
During that time, she was named Teacher of the Year in 2008 and 2018.
After retiring, she moved to Northwest Arkansas near her daughter, Lauren, and grandchildren.
Likewise, after the tragic demise of her son, she works alongside her daughter, Lauren, to run the Mallett Family Foundation.
While there is limited available information about her professional background, she played a significant role in Ryan’s upbringing.
They were deeply supportive of Ryan’s football career, attended many of his games, and encouraged his development from a young age.
Moreover, he had an older sister named Lauren. Unlike her brother, she remains out of the spotlight, so there is little information about her personal and professional life.
