Sanya Richards-Ross (born February 26, 1985) is a former Jamaican-American track and field athlete.

The retired player had also played for the United States internationally in the 400-meter sprint. Sanya became the Olympic champion in 2012 and the world champion in 2009.

Prior to that, in 2008, she won a bronze medal and a silver medal in the 2008 and 2005 games of the Olympics.

Additionally, Richards-Ross also set a record in history for the fastest sub-50-second spirit. This talented player has also achieved victory and a gold medal in the Olympics three times.

Likewise, she also got five medals in total relay from multiple World Athletic Olympics. Unfortunately, Sanya suffered an injury at the 2016 US Olympics.

Eventually, she decided to retire from sports and then joined the NBC broadcasting team as a track and field analyst.

Shari was born on February 26, 1965. The younger sister is a former hairstylist and the co-owner of The Hair Clinic.

In 2008, Shari started her hair salon, and after 10 years, she started to manage her family and children.

The sister is married to Tyrell Gatewood, and the couple has two kids, Slade and Shiloh. Furthermore, Shari also has two stepchildren named Tyriel and Armani.

Sanya Richards got engaged to Aaron Ross in 2007, and after three years, on February 26, 2010, the couple exchanged their wedding vows.

Additionally, Sanya and Aaron welcomed their first child on August 12, 2017, and named him Aaron Jermaine Ross II. The name of the first child came from his father, Aaron Jermaine Ross.

Ross is a retired football player from San Antonio, Texas, who played as a cornerback. The player won the college football national championship in 2005 with Texas.

The New York Giants selected the football player in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft as the 20th overall pick. Aaron was one of seven Longhorns selected by professional football teams in the 2007 NFL Draft.

Ross also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, and Baltimore Ravens of the NFL.
