Jordan Hobbs’s Path Fueled By Her Parents’ Support

Jordan Hobbs, 21, born on September 8, 2003, lives in Springboro, Ohio, with her father, Randall, and her mother, Veronica “Roni” Hobbs.

Jordan and her parents live in the United States, but their ancestors have a deep-rooted history with British and Irish heritage.

Therefore, Jordan and her family hold American nationality and are of mixed ethnicity.

Her father, Randall, earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton in 1990. He has been the president of Woodward, Inc., since December 2022.

On the other hand, when Jordan was cut from her 7th-grade travel team, the moment that pushed her to quit basketball, her mother, Veronica, guided her.

Veronica recognized that her daughter Jordan needed a break from the pressures of competitive AAU basketball, so she encouraged her to avoid the intensity and play only for fun.

She contacted Dante Harlan, coach of the Cincinnati Angels, and arranged private training sessions for Jordan.

Later, in high school, when Jordan faced another mental pressure, Veronica stepped in again when asked whether she wanted to play basketball.

She found Zach Johnson, a coach and member of their church, to work with Jordan on her mindset.
