Shaun Micheel is married to his childhood love Stephanie Micheel. He and his wife are blessed with two children: one son & one daughter.

The professional golfer Shaun Micheel came into the spotlight after he won the 2003 PGA Championship.

Shaun shot 69-68 (-3) to take a two-shot lead over Billy Andrade and Mike Weir in the first two rounds.

He shot a par 70 in the final round and defeated Chad Campbell by two strokes.

Later in August 2006, he finished second at the PGA Championship at Medinah Country Club behind Tiger Woods.

In addition, he was also a runner-up at the 2006 HSBC World Match Play Championship after defeating Woods in the first round.

Adding to his list of accomplishments, Micheel also won the Singapore Open in 1998 and Nike Tour in 1999. 

Moreover, he is just the second golfer in the U.S. Open history to make a double par.

Stephanie Micheel: Wife Of Shaun Micheel

Although his professional career is widely covered and discussed publicly, his personal life stays away from the limelight.

Shaun is a married man; however, he has not shared much information related to his personal matter.  

We know he is married to his childhood sweetheart Stephanie Micheel, and they share two children.

Moreover, after courting each other for a while, they finally decided to tie the knot on December 11, 2003. 

Soon after a year of their marriage, they welcomed their son named, Dade in 2004.  

Likewise, Stephanie and Shaun were blessed with a daughter Marin in 2007.

Stephanie Micheel graduated from LSU and later attended the University of Memphis with Juris Degree.

She is currently an attorney and works for Miles Mason Family Law Group.

Their son, Dade, attended St. George’s High School and played soccer for the team.

On the other hand, their daughter, Marin, currently plays soccer for Briarcrest Christian High School.

Shaun, who has been in the golfing world for a while, has earned significant money.

He has been estimated to have a net worth of around $10 million. Hence, we can say that the Micheel family lives a very luxurious life. 

Shaun Micheel presently resides with his wife and children in Memphis, Tennessee. 

Medical Issues

The golfer had experienced a tough time during April 2005, when he began treatment for low testosterone.

Moreover, he decided to do the treatment after experiencing symptoms like months of fatigue, mood changes, and poor play. 

Micheel claimed that his testosterone levels had declined to a very low level. In his own words, his levels were of those of “a man in his mid-70s.”

After the treatment, he seemed to have back in good health, and his testosterone levels returned to normal. 

The PGA champion also stated that the treatment helped him regain his drive and energy.

The media and paparazzi widely covered the story and were publicized during the coverage of the 2006 PGA Championship. 

Later in 2014, he underwent heart surgery to fix his breathing. 

After coping with the inability to exercise without being short of breath, Shaun Micheel went under the knife, and four stents were inserted.
