On Shawn’s 24th birthday, Sloane gifted him a Rolex watch and shared a very emotional caption on Instagram mentioning their late Father.

She revealed that their Father always wore Rolex. However, her brother didn’t get to keep their dad’s watch when he passed.

At 19, She made her first big purchase and bought the watch but kept it until he turned 24.

Sloane Stephens was born to her parents, Sybil Smith and John Stephens. They were both accomplished athletes.

Her mother was the first African-American woman to be named a first-team All-American swimmer in Division I history.

She was a Boston graduate student in the Athletic Hall of Fame and was considered the most excellent swimmer in the history of the University.

Her mother, Smith, left her father due to his many arrests and married Sheldon Farrell in 1997. After one year of their marriage, young Shawn was born.

Her stepfather was the person who introduced Sloane to tennis, as he was a competitive recreational tennis player.

However, he passed away due to cancer in 2007. After two years of the death of her stepfather, her own biological father also died in a car crash.
