Savannah DeMelo, an American professional midfielder for Racing Louisville FC, has been in a relationship with Kyle Adams, a New Zealand soccer player who currently plays for Louisville City.

The lovebirds celebrated their first year together in April 2025.

DeMelo has often made headlines for her remarkable athletic skills, but this time she is in the spotlight for her personal health.

She received immediate on-field medical care during the NWSL match between Seattle Reign and Racing Louisville on September 14, 2025. Later, she was transported to a local hospital in Seattle.

Due to her mid-game medical emergency, the match has been postponed and it’ll be rescheduled at a later date.

According to Racing Louisville’s X account, she is stable and alert.

Racing Louisville has selected DeMelo with the fourth pick in the 2022 NWSL Draft, and she made her professional debut against the Houston Dash in the 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup.

She was the NWSL Player of the Month for May in 2023 and was named to the 2023 NWSL Challenge Cup All-Tournament Team.

Kyle Adams is a New Zealand Soccer Player

29-year-old Kyle Adams was born on November 20, 1996, in Auckland, New Zealand.

He played three years of college soccer at San Diego State University between 2015 and 2017. Likewise, he played with USL PDL sides FC Tucson and SoCal Surf.

On January 18, 2018, he joined United Soccer League side Rio Grande Valley FC Toros and made his professional debut against Saint Louis FC on March 16.

During the first season, he made 25 appearances and joined RGVFC, where he scored his first goal in the 90th minute, which secured a win over Sacramento Republic in 2019.

Later, he became the captain for RGVFC and was promoted to the Toro’s MLS affiliate, the Houston Dynamo, on short-term loans.

On January 8, 2021, he joined USL Championship side Real Monarchs and moved to San Diego Loyal on January 5, 2022.

However, he was transferred to Louisville City in the USL Championship for an undisclosed fee on July 27, 2023.
