Kidd went to Edmondson- Westside High school in Baltimore, Maryland. He recorded 23 PPG, 12 RPG, and 6 APG during his senior year. Kidd then led the Red Storm to its first City Division I title.
In Kidd’s senior year, he was also named MVP and All-metro player honor. He graduated from high school in 2010.
In college basketball, Kidd played in three different colleges. Kidd played for South Plains College in his first and third years.

He was a crucial member in winning the 2011-12 National Junior College Athletic Association National Championship.
After earning an associate’s degree from South Plains College, he transferred to North Carolina Central University.

First Professional Season
On 27th July 2015, Kidd signed his first professional contract, one year deal with Belgian club Limburg United.
On 16th October 2015, he scored season-high 18 points in a 110-78 win over Leuven Bears. Later on 18th December 2015, Kidd registered his first double-double with 18 rebounds and 14 points.
In the playoff in the first match, only Kidd scored 15 points in an 87-80 win over Telenet Giants Antwerp. His team reached the semis but lost the series 3-2 against eventual champion Oostende.
In the regular season, he posted 9.7 PPG, 5.6RPG, and 1.1APG, whereas 7.8 PPG, 3.3RPG, and 0.6 APG.
On 21st July 2016, for the 2016-17 season, Kidd signed with the German side Tigers Tubingen. In the 2016-17 season, he registered 12.9 PPG, 4.7 RPG, and 1.8 APG over 20 games.
Likewise, on 8th January 2017, he scored 24 points in an 86-82 loss against EWE Baskets Oldenburg. Over 20 games, Kidd scored double-figure in 14 games.
On 21st July 2017, Kidd agreed to 2 year deal with the Turkish club Darussafaka.
Later on, on 14th January 2018, he tied his career-high 24 points in a 98- 65 win over Gaziantep. In a match, he went perfect 9-9 from the field.

Short NBA Career
On 21st July 2018, Kidd signed with the NBA team Utah Jazz for the 2018 NBA Summer League.
Later on 5th July 2018, Kidd scored his summer league-high 15 points and five rebounds in an 87-94 win against 87.
Over six games in the summer league, Kidd registered 10.8 PPG and 3.3 RPG. His work ethic and defensive and playmaking ability impressed Jazz. So, Kidd was included in 15 men’s squad for Jazz.
However, his NBA career didn’t go well. He played only four games for Jazz and didn’t score any points in the NBA. Later on, on 21st November 2019, Jazz waived him to sign Juwan Morgan.
