Tulane University basketball player Gregg Glenn III’s mother is the owner and CEO of TENAS TOUCH.

Gregg Glenn III, 22, a Tulane men’s basketball player who started 34 games last season for the Green Wave, died over the weekend in what the university described in a release as a tragic accident.

Tulane Vice President of Student Affairs, Sarah Cunningham, released a statement and mourned the loss of Gregg. She wrote,

“He was a talented student-athlete who enriched our lives with his spirit, dedication, and passion for both sports and academics,” “Gregg was an outstanding athlete on our men’s basketball team and an individual who brought joy and light to those around him. His commitment to excellence inspired many of us.”

In the release, Glenn, a rising senior, was described as someone with an “infectious personality, positive energy, and kindness” who “brightened every room he entered.”

A 6-foot-7 forward, Glenn finished fourth on the team in scoring during the 2024-25 season, averaging 10.6 points per game while shooting 49.8% from the field.

He also averaged 5.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game, both of which ranked him second on the team.

Tulane coach Ron Hunter also mourned the loss of Gregg by stating,

“Our program was devastated this morning as we learned of the passing of our beloved Gregg Glenn III,” “He was not only an exceptional athlete, but also a remarkable person who brought energy, dedication and kindness to our team and community. Gregg’s spirit and passion will be deeply missed, and our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time. We will honor his memory by continuing to celebrate the impact he had on all of us.”

Gregg was preparing to enter his third season with the program.

The former four-star recruit out of high school with Michigan, where the Pompano Beach, Florida native played four games as a freshman during the 2022-23 season before transferring to Tulane.

Prayers Have Been Poured Out To Gregg Glenn III’s Parents Following The Death Of Their Son

Born on April 16, 2003, in Pompano Beach, Florida, Gregg Glenn III was raised by his mother, Tritina Stephens, and his father, Gregg Glenn Jr.

According to his mother, Tritina’s Facebook profile showcases that she attended Creekside High School and graduated in 2000.

She has been serving as the owner and CEO of TENAS TOUCH. Tritian shared a good bond with her son, Gregg.

On May 21, 2022, Tritina congratulated Gregg following the graduation. She took to her Facebook and wrote,

However, Gregg’s father, Gregg Glenn Jr, has stayed away from social media, so little is known about his personal life.

Gregg Jr and Tritina always supported their son, Gregg Glenn III, in achieving his academic and athletic dreams.

Currently, they are facing a hard time following the death of Gregg III due to a tragic accident.

Friends and relatives have poured their heartfelt condolences and sent prayers to Gregg’s parents to stay strong in this challenging time.

Tulane University basketball player Gregg Glenn III grew up with his sister, Nyla Glenn, 14, born on June 18, 2011.

On June 18, 2018, Tritina wished Nyla a happy 7th birthday through her Facebook handle. She wrote,

In 2018, Nyla won the top reader award in her school. Nyla attends almost every game of her brother, Gregg, to support and cheer him up.

She is also mourning the tragic death of her supportive brother, Gregg Glenn III.
