Early life
Sterling Shepard has football in his genie as his father; Derrick Lathell was a football wide receiver in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins, New Orleans Saints, and Dallas Cowboys.
Unfortunately, he died early due to a sudden heart attack when Shepard was only six years old. However, Shepard followed his father’s legacy and started playing football.
