Ryan Martin and His Wife, Cherish Martin, Met on a Blind Date

Cherish Martin has been Ryan Martin’s devoted partner for a decade.

The couple met on a blind date in August 2015, back when Ryan had not yet gained public recognition, and have been each other’s constant supporters since.

In a 2021 Social media post, Cherish revealed that her and Ryan’s love story has a fun twist of fate. It all began when Cherish dropped off her friend at Ryan’s shop to get her car fixed.

Interestingly, Cherish didn’t actually meet Ryan that day; she would only see him for the first time a few nights later on what she considers a ‘blind date’, though Ryan already knew what she looked like.

Cherish further revealed that their first date was at Cheevers, and sparks flew right from the start.

Ryan knew he was interested first, and the relationship quickly blossomed. Cherish recalls a memorable moment when she was the first to say “I love you”—right after a surgery went wrong, leaving her disoriented and high.

The couple has now been together for 10 years and happily married for two years.

Ryan Martin shared a beautiful video on Instagram expressing his love and appreciation for his wife, Cherish, on their 2nd wedding anniversary in February 2025 and wrote:

“Happy anniversary to the love of my life, my road dawg, my BFF, and my glue!! Been 2 years already!! Only the rest of our lives to go! Your the best wife and a great momma. I love you Cherish Martin!!!”
