Coach Fran Brown Wife, Teara Brown
For an extensive period, Fran Brown has shared his life with Teara Brown, his supportive wife, who has stood by him through every challenge.
In 2008, Fran faced a difficult period, sinking into depression after being released by the Cincinnati Bengals, shattering his aspirations of playing in the NFL.
Teara, his wife, vividly recalls mentioning, “He didn’t want to come outside, didn’t want to be around people. I guess he felt kind of embarrassed and ashamed.”
However, when the opportunity arose for Brown to take on the role of the Owls’ director of player development, it marked a turning point.
Despite the financial setback, Teara and the family believed in the potential for future opportunities and the positive impact Fran could have on others.
Teara expressed her confidence, stating, “We thought about the opportunities that he could have in the future and how much further he could go with his career and how many lives he could touch, and I just knew it was a great opportunity, and I was like, ‘We’ll be fine.'”
Fran and his wife, Teara, are parents of three children: two sons, Fran Jr. and Brayden, and a daughter, Ivy Ann.
Fran Brown Jr. is in freshman year at Saint Francis University, where he plays as a linebacker.
