Davis Compton Mills, an American professional football quarterback for the Houston Texans of the NFL, is winning hearts with his rising career.

Born on October 21, 1998, in Duluth, Georgia, Davis Mills is the youngest of three children of Steve and Dawn Mills. He has two elder siblings, sisters, Erin Mills and Alison Mills.

Furthermore, Davis Mills is not the only athlete in the Mills family; both of his elder sisters, Ali and Erin, are exceptional tennis players and former collegiate standouts.

Davis and his siblings inherited their athletic genes from their maternal grandfather, Robert Compton, who played baseball for the New York Mets minor league team.

Similarly, their paternal uncle, David Mills, played tennis at Michigan State University and the University of Michigan.

Following in their grandfather and uncle’s footsteps in sports, Davis Mills and his sisters, Erin and Ali, began their athletic journey from a very young age.

While Erin and Ali Mills didn’t pursue their athletic careers professionally, they won the hearts of many with their remarkable tennis careers in high school and college.

The Eldest Among Three Mills Siblings, Erin Ashley Mills, Played Tennis at Tusculum University and Peachtree Ridge High School

Davis Mills’ eldest sister, Erin Ashley Mills, was a standout tennis player at Peachtree Ridge High School and Tusculum University.

Born on June 4, 1994, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Erin began her tennis career at Peachtree Ridge, where she was a member of three region championship teams (2010, 2011, 2012).

During her high school tenure, her tennis team advanced to the state quarterfinals in 2010 and 2011, and to the state finals in 2012.

She also earned several honors, including All-County First Team and All-Region First Team. Erin attended the Hobson Tennis Academy, where she finished ranked 12th in Georgia, 58th in the Southeast Region, and 225th in the nation.

After graduating from Peachtree Ridge High School, Erin continued her tennis career at Tusculum College, where she played for the women’s tennis team from 2012 to 2016.

During her freshman year, she became the South Atlantic Conference Co-Freshman of the Year and was named SAC Player of the Week three times as a rookie.

Similarly, in her 2013-14 season, Erin was named All-South Atlantic Conference Doubles and SAC Tournament MVP.

After earning her B.A. in Business Administration, Economics, and International Business from Tusculum College in 2016, Erin continued her academic journey at the University of South Carolina School of Law, from which she earned her J.D. in 2019.

Although Erin didn’t continue her athletic journey, she is excelling in her career as an attorney. Since 2019, Erin has been serving as an attorney at Mills and Hoopes, LLC in Lawrenceville.

Prior to that, she served as student editor-in-chief at ABA Real Property. Trust and Estate Law Journal at the University of South Carolina.

Davis Mills’ Elder Sister, Alison ‘Ali’ Mills, is a Former University of Houston and South Carolina Tennis Standout

The middle among the three Mills Siblings, Ali Mills, also won the hearts of many with her amazing high school and collegiate tennis career.

Ali began her athletic career at Peachtree Ridge High School, where she was considered a three-star prospect, a top-8 recruit in the Southeast, and a top-25 recruit from Georgia.

Furthermore, she cracked the top 300 as a junior, reaching No. 279, while also earning a career-best TennisRPI of No. 230.

After graduating from Peachtree Ridge, Ali continued her tennis journey, attending the University of South Carolina, from which she graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.

While at the University of South Carolina, Ali led her team to several victories and earned numerous honors, including being named an ITA Scholar-Athlete twice.

She further continued her athletic journey at the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business, from which she earned her Master’s degree in Finance in 2019.

Ali now serves as a director and financial planner at Trinity Legacy Partners, LLC, in Houston, Texas, a position she has been holding since 2023.
