Anderson took a hard hit while tackling Notre Dame’s Eli Raridon and stayed on the ground without moving for a few minutes, raising concerns about a head or neck injury.
Medical staff from both sidelines immediately rushed to his aid as the stadium grew silent.
As part of the emergency protocol, his facemask, helmet, and shoulder pads were removed before he was fitted with a neck brace and placed on a stretcher.
The cart then carried him off the field, and in a reassuring moment, Anderson gave a thumbs-up to his teammates, and the crowd at Notre Dame Stadium cheered in support.
He was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
Early reports confirmed that he retained movement in all his limbs, which was an encouraging sign.
No official update on the injury was given immediately, but the New York Post noted that the precautions suggested a possible head or neck injury.
Since Anderson was able to move and talk with the medical staff, there is hope that his injury is not too serious.
Updates are expected to come in the coming days once test results are complete and properly analyzed.
After the injury, the entire Aggies team and staff gathered around him in prayer, while fans showed their support on social media using #PrayForBryce.
During the broadcast, Commentator Noah Eagle said:
It goes without saying that injuries, of any kind, are the worst part of this sport. But certainly the ones with a fallen brother … and you can see the pain and concern on the Aggies’ side and the Notre Dame side.

The Aggies will certainly miss his presence on the field, but the priority remains on his health and recovery.
As the football world waits for more clarity, the hope is that Bryce Anderson’s setback will be temporary, allowing him to return stronger and continue his promising career with Texas A&M.
