A mother’s Thanksgiving is shattered when a grown man mocks her 12-year-old child by exploiting his content for views.

The incident unfolded during Thanksgiving when Amanda Davila discovered that a grown man had taken her 12‑year‑old’s content and used it to create a mocking video online.

The video portrayed her son as a “coach’s kid,” a label that was not only inaccurate but also opened the door to cyberbullying.

@jonathan_odom I know a coaches kid when I see one….🤣🤣🤣🤣 it’s okay I was too😭😭😭 #coach #baseball #funny #viralreels ♬ original sound – jonathanodom

Despite Amanda’s repeated requests to have the video removed, the man dismissed her concerns, telling her to “take it up with Instagram.”

The situation escalated further when anonymous texts began targeting her family, amplifying the distress.

What should have been a holiday of gratitude instead turned into a confrontation with online exploitation and harassment, leaving Amanda to call out the consequences of adults misusing children’s content for views.

A Mother Asking for Support After a Grown Man Exploits Her 12‑Year‑Old’s Content for Views

Amanda took to Facebook to voice her frustration, posting a detailed account of the incident along with a screenshot of the TikTok profile that mocked her son.

In her post, she highlighted how the man bragged about his supposed 47 Division I scholarships and his father’s NFL background, all while leveraging a child’s creativity for attention.

Her focus was clear: exposing the hypocrisy of someone who presents himself as a role model yet chooses to exploit a minor for online popularity.

She concluded her post by urging others to report the video and the page, and further saying:

Hating on a 12 year old is giving, insecure and so many other things that are better left unsaid. To all the GROWN people who know this is absolutely disgusting feel free to report the video and his page.

The post quickly drew strong reactions from the community, with many sharing their point of view and condemning the man’s actions.

One commenter shared their POV, highlighting their disappointment, saying,

Wow this is disappointing from a grown man! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Will be reporting hopefully he takes it down.

Others raised serious concerns, questioning the legality of the situation, saying,

Isn’t this exploiting a child? Can police be involved?

This shows that using a child’s content for attention can hurt families and lead to bullying.
