The MPFL Youth League continues to prove that commitment, community, and character create lasting success as it celebrates a growing list of players and coaches advancing to the college level.

More than a league, MPFL has built a family-driven environment that supports athletes from their earliest playing days through their next chapter in higher education.

JJ Kern, a key voice within MPFL, emphasized that the league’s mission has never centered on profit.

Instead, MPFL focuses on opportunity, accessibility, and long-term development.

The league removes financial barriers that often prevent young athletes from pursuing college dreams.

MPFL does not charge thousands in fees, and it consistently supports athletes without asking for anything in return.

Kern even personally provides transportation to college visits, ensuring no player misses an opportunity because of logistics or cost.

MPFL walks alongside its athletes at every stage. The league supports players as they progress from grade school to junior high, then to high school, and ultimately to college.

This hands-on involvement allows coaches to mentor athletes both on and off the field, reinforcing discipline, accountability, and a strong work ethic.

While some players may eventually pursue professional careers, MPFL proudly measures success beyond wins and scholarships.

Many athletes move on to become coaches, leaders, and resilient individuals who carry MPFL values into their communities.

This spring, MPFL continues its commitment to advancement through its upcoming showcases.

The showcases will feature a “Last Chance College Division” designed specifically for current-year seniors and athletes who still have college eligibility remaining.

These events create critical exposure opportunities and help athletes connect with college programs at a pivotal moment in their careers.

MPFL also recognizes that success requires collective effort. The league actively invites coaches, supporters, and sponsors to get involved, reinforcing the belief that building athletes takes a village.

By encouraging multi-sport participation, MPFL helps athletes develop versatility, reduce burnout, and strengthen overall athletic performance.

As MPFL celebrates its players and coaches moving on to college, it also celebrates the values that made those achievements possible.

Through hard work, selflessness, and unwavering support, the MPFL Youth League continues to turn potential into progress—one athlete, one coach, and one opportunity at a time.
