QB Tua Tagovailoa’s wife, Annah Gore, comes from a distinguished family of finance and real estate.
Tua Tagovailoa is currently in the news after a costly fourth-quarter interception that led to a 31-21 loss against the Buffalo Bills. This loss extends Miami’s losing streak against Buffalo to seven games.
Since the interception marks Tua’s third consecutive game with at least one turnover, analysts and fans have begun scrutinizing his consistency and ability to lead the team in high-pressure moments.
Annah Gore’s Parents Both Studied at East Carolina University
While most NFL players are discreet about their personal lives, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa took a step further, not announcing his marriage until his first anniversary. Tagovailoa crossed paths with his wife, Annah Gore, amidst the hustle and bustle of the University of Alabama.
There are only speculations that the two started dating since their college days, as neither of them has confirmed when their relationship actually started.
Their love grew deeper, and the couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony in July 2022. They kept their wedding under the radar until Andy Slater announced in a post on X on August 2, 2022.
The day after Slater’s post, Tagovailoa acknowledged the leak of his marriage news. He also described the radio host’s act as “almost disrespectful” at a press conference.
“I mean, for me, I love to keep my life as private as possible and that’s what we tried to do with me, my wife, and my daily. But obviously in this world that’s not how it is. It’s almost kind of disrespectful by doing that but it is what it is. Can’t do anything about it. I have a wife.”
Although their marriage went public, Tagovailoa and his wife, Annah, have still kept their lives under wraps, occasionally posting on Instagram.
After marriage, Annah kept her husband’s last name and refers to herself as Annah Tagovailoa. Tua and Annah are creating a beautiful family and home along with their two children. Beyond her private life, Annah comes from a distinguished family.
Annah Gore was born on June 11, 1999, in High Point, North Carolina, to parents, Christina and Gary Gore. She grew up alongside her four siblings, Grace, Ally, Garrison, and Ayden. While the Gore family has kept their lives private, we discovered that Annah comes from a family with a background in finance and real estate.
Her father, Gary M. Gore, is the founder and CEO of ACIMA Private Wealth. He is a seasoned financial professional with 25 years of experience, primarily at Bank of America and its affiliated companies.
Initially, he began his career as a credit analyst at NCNB, a predecessor of Bank of America. Then, he gradually progressed through multiple leadership roles, including Sales Performance Manager and Market President/Relationship Manager.
Similarly, his academic background is equally strong. He earned a BSBA in finance from East Carolina University. He completed studies at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as the Aresty Institute of Executive Education. He also holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 66 securities licenses.
Meanwhile, Annah’s mother, Christina, also completed her education at East Carolina University. She is a Real Estate Agent at Joyner Fine Property and actively posts about various properties around Virginia. Before becoming a realtor, she taught for 26 years.
Therefore, Annah’s parents’ remarkable career has truly inspired her to build her life on her own. While she keeps her life private, reports suggest Annah has also pursued business ventures in Richmond, carving her own path apart from her parents’ success.
