University of Toledo football head coach Jason Candle has a strong partnership with his wife, Nicole, who has played a vital role in his successful career.

The couple shares a loving family with their three children: a daughter, Avery, and two sons, Cameron and Colton.

The pair have stood the test of time with their strong companion over the years of their long-lasting relationship.

Despite his busy schedule, Candle has remained a family-oriented person who prioritizes his family time and always makes time for his kids.

Jason Candle and His Wife, Nicole Candle, Have Been Married for a Decade Now!

The long-time married couple, Jason and Nicole, walked down the aisle on June 28, 2014.

Throughout Jason’s coaching career, Nicole has supported him through life’s ups and downs.

The head coach has frequently publicly acknowledged his wife’s support, crediting much of his success to her constant dedication.

On their recent 10th anniversary, Nicole shared a picture of herself and her husband celebrating the special occasion, commemorating a decade of partnership.

In 2020, Jason shared a picture with his wife, Nicole, and daughter on Mother’s Day, expressing how great of a mom Nicole is.

Similarly, the coach has shared multiple pictures of their family trips and holiday celebrations on Twitter. This speaks volumes about how he takes time out of his busy schedule to spend quality time with his family.

In 2024, Candle took to his Twitter to share pictures of completing the Boston Marathon with Nicole.

In 2016, the couple hosted a football-themed ladies’ night out to raise awareness and support for the fight against human trafficking and the Social Justice Institute.

Nicole Has a Successful Career in Addition to Being a Devoted Wife and Mom!

Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Nicole is a successful professional in her own right in addition to being a great partner and a mother.

She graduated from California Lutheran University with a BA in Communications and public relations and an MS in Counseling and Guidance.

Nicole previously worked as an assistant director of student programs at her alma mater and as a coordinator for student activities at the University of Notre Dame.

Similarly, she was the manager for the Women’s Initiative at United Way of Greater Toledo and the Major Gifts Officer at the University of Toledo Foundation.

According to her Twitter bio, Nicole is also a relationship-oriented communications professional and a certified life coach.

She is currently the director of development at the University of Development.
