Tyvez Monroe (December 3, 1996- December 27, 2023) was a former American collegiate basketball player who played for Augusta University.

Originally from Alexandria, Tyvez attended Thomas A. Edison High School, where he had a remarkable two-season career. During his time there, he earned the first-team All-Conference, second-team All-State, and Team MVP honors.

While at Augusta, Tyvez led the team to the 2016 PBC Men’s Basketball Tournament finals, but unfortunately, they lost the match against Lander University.

Tyvez’s basketball career never took a professional turn, and the shooting guard ended his sporting career right after graduating in 2019.

Following his graduation, the former athlete opted for a career away from the realm of sports and worked in various positions. Most recently, Tyvez was working as a security officer at Allied Universal.
