The 34 years old talented NHL player, Vladimir Tarasenko has a younger brother named Vladimir Tarasenko. 

In the National Hockey League (NHL), Vladimir plays right wing for the New York Rangers. He is a Russian professional ice hockey player.

Tarasenko originally competed for the senior squad in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) in 2008–09 before moving up to the NHL. He then played in the Sibir Novosibirsk organization’s system.

On February 9th, 2023, Tarasenko was dealt to the New York Rangers along with defenseman Niko Mikkola.

A day later, Tarasenko made his Rangers debut against the Seattle Kraken and notched his first goal with the organization.

Vladimir Tarasenko was born in Yaroslavl, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union, on December 13, 1991.

The father of Tarasenko, Andrei, was an Olympian who competed in the 1994 Winter Olympics and a former league-scoring champion in Russia.

In addition, he represented Russia in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. 

Wife And Children 

Yana and Tarasenko started dating in 2014. In 2015, on July 1st, Tarasenko married Yana.

Tarasenko recollects his memory of meeting Yana, “We met in a karaoke bar. No one sung. We went there since I needed to unwind a little bit but was too timid to approach her.”

The couple have three sons: Mark (born in 2007), Alexander (born in 2016), and Artem (born in 2019).

Mark, his stepson, was born in 2007. The same year Tarasenko and the Blues won the Stanley Cup, Artem was born.  

Yana frequently posts about her children and husband. She along with her kids are present in most of Vladimir games to cheer him up.

Professional Journey Of Vladimir Tarasenko

The St. Louis Blues picked Tarasenko in the first round, 16th overall, at the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, and he played for them in the 2012–13 season.

He spent a portion of 11 seasons in St. Louis, where he established himself as one of the team’s top scorers, participated in three NHL All-Star Games, and took home the Stanley Cup in 2019.

Tarasenko has also represented Russia in international play. He represented Russia in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. 

The star ice-hockey player has received many awards and accolades. Vladimir was chosen for the IIHF World U18 Championship First Team All-Stars in 2009.

Also, the NHL named him Rookie of the Month in January 2013.
