  2. i was in college at OSU at the same time Walt was and got to watch Walt play and was an inspiration to all of us in. we all felt that he left nothing on the field.
    i remember the Nebraska game and he almost beat them by himself. Nebraska was in the top ten at the time. 4th quarter , time running out we were close to the 50 yard line and we needed a touchdown, so they gave ball to Walt. run after run right up the middle time after time he would carry the defenders. it would take 4 guys to get him down. he just ran out of time.
