Warriors huge loss to Raptors without Steph and Draymond, Mavericks win their third straight

When Golden State Warriors enter the game against the Toronto Raptors, they knew it would be a tough night. 

As they without their key player Steph Curry and they again hit with bad news before the game.

Another key player Draymond Green ruled out just before the game due to injury.

Steph already out due to a lingering tailbone injury similarly Green ruled out due to a left finger sprain.

Without Steph and Draymond, the Warriors fell miserably to Raptors 130-77.

GSW started strong but fell apart quickly.

Down two of their core members and All-Stars, the Dubs had their work cut out for them.

GSW’s small forward Andrew Wiggins started strong for the Dubs as he dropped 11 points through the first 12 minutes.

His effort kept the Dubs within a score with the Raptors, who led 27-26 after the first quarter.

However soon GSW started to waver in the second quarter.

The team was only able to generate 16 points through the quarter while Toronto posted 35 points in the second quarter.

Meanwhile, on defense, the Dubs were unable to control Raptors’ Paschall Siakam, who scored 23 points.

And recently acquired Gary Trent Jr. scored 17 points and combined for 40 points in the first half alone. 

 
 
 
Similarly, Rookie center James Wiseman notched nine points and five rebounds.
 
While Warriors’ 2020 draft pick Nico Mannion added 10 points and three assists.
 
Eric Paschall also dropped nine points, six rebounds, two assists, a steal, and one block in 23 minutes he played.

Meanwhile, the Raptors won 130-77, their largest victory in franchise history.
 
For the Raptors, Pascal Sikkim scored 36 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.
 
Gary Trent Jr. dropped 24 points including 5 rebounds and an assist.
 
OG Anunboy made 21 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists.
Similarly, Malachi Flynn scored 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
 
With Friday’s loss, Golden State has lost six of their last seven games and stands at 10th place in the Western Conference.
 

The Warriors will play on Sunday to wrap up the road trip against the Hawks in Atlanta.

Dallas Mavericks seize the win on Coach Rick Carlisle’s milestone game.

As Mavericks played against the New York Knicks, it was the Mavs Coach Rick Carlisle’s 1,500th NBA game coached.

However, Rick Carlise did not attend the game as he tested positive for Covid-19 the morning.

Dallas entered the court under Coach Jamahl Mosley in place of Rick as acting head coach.

Mosley has been a finalist for several head coaching positions during the past couple of years.

It was a great opportunity for Mosley to show his ability and the Mavericks did great under his coaching.

Dallas mavericks managed to win against the New York Knicks with 86-99 on Carlise’s 1,500th game.

In the first quarter, the Knicks started strong with a 13-2 run during the quarter to finish with a result of 25-22.

Then during the second quarter, Dallas mavericks recovered points as the team achieved a partial 18-2 run during the quarter and marked the maximum difference (three points) at the end of the quarter.

The quarter ended with a result of 21-27. After this, the players came to rest with a 46-49 for the 1st half.

In the third quarter,  the lead on the scoreboard change frequently, which ended with a tie 23-23 and a 69-72 in total.

Finally, in the course of the last quarter, the players of the Mavericks managed to score big and made the distance with a 14-2 run.

They had a maximum difference of 15 points and then quarter finished with a result of 17-27.

Finally, the game ended with the Dallas Mavericks winning with a score of 86-99. 

During the match, the Dallas Mavericks won the victory as Luka doncic dropped 26 points, seven assists, and eight rebounds.

 Likewise, newly acquired Kristaps Porzingis dropped 14 points, an assist, and eight rebounds. 

On the other hand, the Knicks Julius Randle scored 14 points, 11 assists, and eight rebounds, and  Alec Burks scored 20 points, an assist, and two rebounds.

Subsequently, the next meeting of New York Knicks will be against Detroit Pistons in Little Caesars Arena.

Good news for the Dallas Mavericks.

Meanwhile, the next game of Dallas mavericks will be against Washington Wizards in Capital One Arena. 

As of now, Rick Carlisle has rejoined the Mavericks for their trip to Washington

Carlisle was fully vaccinated three months ago but tested positive for the coronavirus Friday morning in New York.

And he entered safety protocols while awaiting the results of further testing and missed his 1,500th game.

He said before the game that his hope was that his morning test was a false positive.

“In this year of the unexpected, I had an unexpected positive test this morning,” Carlisle.

“There’s a chance and there’s a hope that it will be a false positive.

Subsequently, acting head coach for the Mavericks Jamahl Mosley said, “Rick has been cleared to travel with us to D.C.

Presumably, Carlisle will be on the sideline Saturday against the Wizards.
