He started as the director of hockey analysis with the Calgary Flames, starting in 2011.

Christopher Michael Snow was born on August 11, 1981, in Melrose, Massachusetts, to his parents, Robert Snow and Linda Snow.

Moreover, Chris’s father, Robert Snow, was an educator, while his mother, Linda Snow, was a homemaker. He also has a sister named Colleen Snow.

The disease ran in the blood of the Snow family tree. Just a couple of months ahead of his diagnosis, his father passed away as a victim of ALS.

Similarly, ALS also resulted in the death of Chris Snow’s relatives, two of his uncles and a cousin.

Likewise, Chris Snow married Kelsie Snow. The two exchanged vows in 2007 after a few years of romance.

As per reports, Chris met the love of his life while working as a sportswriter in The Boston Globe. 

Together, Chris and Kelsie birthed two children, Cohen and Willa. Cohen was born in 2011, while Willa was born in 2014.

The assistant general manager of the Calgary Flames, Chris Snow, has died following a long battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Chris’s wife, Kelsie Snow, took to social media and broke out the news of her husband passing away. She said that tests confirmed Chris would not wake up again.

Likewise, his long-time friend Craig Conroy added, “Through his journey, Chris became a true inspiration for all who knew him and an incredible advocate for everyone affected by ALS.”

Similarly, Chris was a fighter till the end; he defied the odds until now, but unfortunately, he was compelled to leave his loved ones.

Chris is still saving lives even after leaving the world. He is blessing four people with the gift of life by donating his kidneys, liver, and lungs.

Lastly, his wife posted on X, “We are deeply broken and deeply proud. In life and death, Chris never stopped giving. We walk forward with his light guiding us.”
