Zach Ertz, a tight end for the NFL’s Washington Commanders, and his wife, Julie Beth Ertz, are not just known for their athletic achievements but also for their journey as proud parents.

Zach met his now-wife, Julie, in 2012 while attending a baseball game at Stanford University, where the NFL star was a student and football standout.

After four years of dating, he proposed to Julie, and the couple got engaged in February 2016 at Klein Field, the same stadium where they first met.

They tied the knot on March 26, 2017, on the coast of Santa Barbara, California, and have now been happily married for eight years, becoming proud parents of three adorable children.

Four months after announcing their pregnancy, Julie gave birth to the couple’s first child, Madden Matthew Ertz, on August 11, 2022.

Recently, on Madden’s third birthday, Julie Ertz and Zach Ertz shared a post featuring several adorable pictures of him on Instagram. “Happy Birthday, Madden Boy! You are so so loved!! #3,” she captioned the post.

Team Ertz grew from three to five when Zach and Julie welcomed their twin sons, Kace and Kyren, two years after the birth of their first son, Madden.

On August 24, 2024, the couple welcomed their twin sons, Kace and Kyren, and announced the exciting news in a joint Instagram post.

The post included a black-and-white photo of the twins cuddled up together, dressed in matching outfits with “Hello, my name is” tags attached.

The couple recently shared a beautiful post of their twin sons celebrating their first birthday on Instagram with a sweet caption that reads:

“Holy Happy Birthday to the Twins!! Kace and Ky you are double the love, fun and comedy! Happy 1st sweet boys 🩵🩵.”
