Joe DiMarco, the beloved head coach of Monstars organization, passed away untimely on Saturday, May 24, 2025. He shared 13 years of spirited love with his wife, Julie DiMarco Moore.
They had built a life centered on family, love, and the beautiful chaos, with their two children, Luca and Giovanni.

Joe was the passionate head coach of the Monstars travel baseball team, known for his charisma, competitive spirit, and deep commitment to the kids he coached.
He wasn’t just teaching baseball; he was shaping character.
Outside the diamond, he worked for the Pepsi-Cola Company, earning respect for his dependability and team spirit.
He had a well-known love for food, especially pizza, and was the kind of friend who would roast you in a group chat but be the first to help you out on a cold morning.
His warmth and humor made him unforgettable.
Moreover, Joe’s sudden passing saddened the whole baseball community, and many shared heartfelt condolences. His passing left a deep void, but his legacy lives on in the players he mentored.

As we are all grieving and watching our sons grieve, our main focus remains on Joe’s wife Julie & their 2 sons Luca & Gio.

Joe Dimarco Family Mourns The Tragic Loss
38-year-old Joseph Anthony DiMarco of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, was a devoted husband, father, son, coach, and friend whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of countless people.
He was the only child and the greatest joy of his mother, Darlene DiMarco.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Rolando DiMarco, whom he held close in memory, as well as his grandparents, Joseph & Theresa Garcia and Antonio & Costanza DiMarco.
Joe shared a love as fierce as his competitive spirit with his wife, Julie DiMarco Moore, for 13 years. They raised two sons, Luca and Giovanni, in a close-knit family.
Fatherhood was an adventure for Joe, and he coached his boys’ baseball team, which was his life’s calling. He had constant belief in his players and inspired athletes and young men who will carry his lesson forward.
Furthermore, Joe was family in every sense to his in-laws, and he cherished his bonds with his sister-in-law, Erin Moore, and his adored niece, Viviana.
He was a friend everyone wished for, and his lifelong friendship with Michael Spataro and his wife, Megan, proved his character. He was a godfather to their daughter, Avery.
Joe lived boldly, loved deeply, and left an indelible mark.
His absence leaves a void that no words can fill, but his legacy lives on in the smiles of his sons, the echoes of laughter on the baseball field, and the countless lives he uplifted.
His visitation was held at George Irvin Green Funeral Home in Munhall on May 28 and 29, 2025. Moreover, he was laid to rest in peace at Allegheny Cemetery, 4734 Butler St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201.

The Monstars Travel Baseball Organization Honors Coach Joe With Heartfelt Fundraiser
The Monstars Travel Baseball Organization has come together to support the family of their beloved coach and leader, Joe. He was a pillar of the local baseball community.
On behalf of Joe’s wife and their children, the team has launched a fundraiser to help ease the financial burden during this difficult time.
With the family’s blessing, we have created a gofund me account to help alleviate some of the financial stress during this most difficult time. Please keep Julie, Luca, & Gio along with all who loved Joe in your thoughts. We will share funeral arrangements as soon as they are set.
