A Lacrosse player at Whitney Point High School, Dominik R. Brown, passed away in car accident, leaving everyone devastated.
Dominik R. Brown was a senior in the Class of 2026 at Whitney Point High School in New York, where he competed for the Whitney Point Varsity Boys Lacrosse team.
Standing 5-foot-10 and weighing 155 pounds, Brown wore jersey No. 9 and played as a midfielder (M) and defensive midfielder (DM).
Brown has been a part of the Whitney Point lacrosse program since the 2024 season and was officially added to the 2025 varsity roster in late April.
During the 2025 campaign, his contributions were reflected on the stat sheet despite limited game action.
In a matchup against Johnson City High School on April 25, 2025, he recorded one goal, one ground ball, and one point, showing his ability to make an impact on both ends of the field.
That performance placed him among the statistical leaders in Section 4 STAC-East, where he ranked fourth in goals.
As a midfielder, Brown was relied upon to transition the ball, support the offense, and contribute defensively, and his early-season efficiency averaged 1.0 goal per game.
