Recently, when Jerod Mayo was introduced as the new head coach of the New England Patriots, the Mayo family turned out in full support.

Jerod is now the head coach for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). Prior to being a head coach, he was with the Patriots as an assistant coach.
Jerod has a history with the Patriots. Mayo played college football at the University of Tennessee and was selected by the Patriots in the 2008 NFL Draft.
He played with the Patriots for eight seasons. He was named Defensive Rookie of the Year, earned Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro honors in 2010 after leading the league in tackles, and received a second Pro Bowl selection in 2012.

Jerod’s younger brother, Deron Mayo, was born on March 28, 1988, making him two years younger than Jerod.
Just like his brother, Deron also pursued a career in football, playing college football at Old Dominion University before entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Denver Broncos.
After his playing career, Deron transitioned into coaching, and in 2018, he became the assistant strength and conditioning coach for the New England Patriots.
While Deron didn’t achieve as much success in football as his brother, he has excelled in his career.
Youngest Brother Derek Mayo Is Manager
Just like his two elder brothers, Derek also played football his entire life.
He played college football at the University of Richmond and was a member of the Richmond Spiders NCAA FCS National Championship team.
However, he later chose a different profession and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Richmond
During the same period, he also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management, General, from the University of Richmond-Robins School of Business.
Currently, Derek serves as a Regional Portfolio Manager at Bozzuto in Washington, DC.
His professional journey includes working as a Senior Property Manager at Kettler Management and holding roles as a Regional Associate and General Manager at CPM.
