Gil de Ferran daughter, Anna de Ferran, is the 28-year-old DJ and songwriter. Anna is one of two kids that Gil had with his wife, Angela.
The 2000 and 2001 Champ Car champion Gil de Ferran was supportive of his daughter’s music career. He had talked to the media about her love for music when she debuted as a singer at the Verizon IndyCar Series.
Only a day after Christmas, Anna shared a fun family video showing her family cooking, exchanging gifts, and living their best lives. Gil was seen sitting at the dining table and giving a toast to his family.
So, when the news of Gil’s demise spread across social media, it sent shockwaves. The talented racer and sporting director of BAR/Honda and McClaren teams passed away from a heart attack at age 56.
Anna and the rest of the Ferran family are currently processing the shock and are yet to release a statement on Gil’s death.

Gil de Ferran’s daughter, Anna de Ferran, went out of her way to carve a career different from her father. The 28-year-old daughter of Gil de Ferran has ventured into the music world and has achieved notable success.
Her Instagram bio gives a big hint about her career. She is a DJ, producer, singer and songwriter. Last month, in November, Anna had the opportunity to DJ on the podium for the F1 pre-race show at the season finale in Abu Dhabi.
Performing in racecar events isn’t a new thing for Anna. Previously, in 2014, Anna, who was 19 at the time, performed at the Verizon IndyCar Series season opener. She sang “God Bless America” during the pre-race ceremonies.
At the time, the proud father, Gil, said it was a fantastic opportunity for Anna to show her musical chops. The former racer also revealed that Anna had been performing in small venues in the UK and near their home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Angela was drawn to music at age 13, and when asked if she was nervous about her performance, the teenager at the time said it was surreal to be in a familiar place but fulfill a different role.
2023 was a happening year for Anna, who was featured in the Ocean Drive magazine for the May/June issue. She also performed at the Jake Paul v Tommy Fury fight.
Alongside working as a DJ, Anna is also focused on helping other women break through in the male-dominated industry. She is the co-owner of L’Amigas Collective, a Miami-based, women-led DJ bookings group.
Anna’s latest music release was in October, a song titled, Infected. Earlier this year, she also released songs, I Go and Gogo. Currently, the DJ has 17.5k monthly listeners on Spotify.

Anna has always kept our romantic life out of the public limelight. On her Instagram, the DJ has mostly shared her work life and constant travels between work more than her private life.
But previously, she was reported to be dating Flynn Busson. Flynn Busoon is the son of former supermodel Elle Macpherson and French hedge fund manager Arpad Busson.
Last year, in January, Flynn shared an Instagram story celebrating Anna’s birthday. The couple had gone public with their romance in July 2021 as he shared a photo of them and captioned the post, “She is alright, are you alright?”
But the two might have gone separate ways as Flynn has deleted that post from his Instagram handle. He has also not shared anything that could hint he is dating someone else.
