Anthony Gordon Drove Under A Ban
Anthony Gordon faced jail time soon after signing with the New Castles. He had already been in the limelight for an incident involving his car, complicating things even more for Newcastle United.
Anthony was caught driving his £100,000 black Mercedes G-Wagon just two days after getting a six-month suspension for failing to submit information about the driver.
Gordon was apparently seen parked outside the Hilton hotel in Gateshead’s busy town center on February 1 with his girlfriend in the car.
Moreover, this reckless disrespect for the law might result in a six-month prison sentence.
Further, he was charged with failing to disclose the identity of the driver of his car twice, related to parking and speeding violations.
Later, Newcastle United FC stated that the ban had been overturned and claimed that Gordon had done nothing wrong.
However, the player wasn’t eligible to play in the Carabao Cup final as he was cup-tied.
While he was at Everton, a furious supporter was spotted outside the stadium, showing their anger toward Gordon. The fan was going after Anthony’s car, cursing and demanding that the winger give up the club.
