Collegiate football athlete Garrett Greene apparently got his athletic genes from his dad. Charles Greene, who formerly played baseball catcher in the MLB, is his father.
Influenced by Charlie, Garrett began participating in sports activities at a young age. Although he played both baseball and football as a high schooler, he eventually chose football.
Even though his dad does not know much about football, he is proud of his son’s achievement as a collegiate football quarterback. Both his parents want to see Garrett fulfill his NFL dream in the near future.

Garrett Greene’s father, Charlie Greene, is a former professional baseball player. He was born on January 23, 1971, in Miami, Florida.

Greene’s dad, Dr. Charles P. Greene, was a baseball coach for Miami-Dade College, where he coached baseball for nearly three decades. So, he inherited a love for baseball games since he was a boy.
He attended Killian Senior High School from 1986 to 1989, at the end of which he was drafted as the 11th-round pick by the Seattle Mariners in the MLB draft.
However, he opted to play for his dad’s team at that time.
Charlie debuted in the MLB for the New York Mets in 1996. Following that, he played for three other teams, namely Baltimore Orioles, Milwaukee Brewers, and Toronto Blue Jays, until 2000.
He is currently an assistant director of player development for the MLB club Milwaukee Brewers.
