Mark Few Son: In the footsteps of his father, Mark Few, Joe Few emerges as the next chapter in the Few family’s basketball legacy.

Mark, who harbored dreams of dominating the grandest stages in basketball, left an indelible mark during his high school career.

Now, following suit, his son Joe is carving his own path to success as a standout player for Gonzaga University.

Mark Few, a native of Oregon, United States, attended Creswell High School and was a star point guard.

Unfortunately, his sporting career was cut short after a dislocated shoulder while playing football in his senior year in high school.

He attended Linfield College and later transferred to the University of Oregon hoping for sporting opportunities, but the injury troubles kept him sidelined.

Academically, he graduated with a degree in Physical Education in 1987. Subsequently, he assumed an assistant role at his high school, Creswell.

He became associated with Gonzaga University, where he has been the head coach since 1999.

Known for his attention to detail and unique coaching methods, he has endeared himself with the Gonzaga fans for over three decades.

Gonzaga University basketball star Joe Few’s age is estimated to be in late teens: 19 or 20. Though not confirmed, the estimated age comes from assuming he is in his junior year of college.

Nevertheless, at a young age, he has been able to make a name for himself in basketball.

The Rollercoaster Journey of Gonzaga’s Joe Few

A native of Spokane, Washington, Joe attended Gonzaga Prep School. He made a name for himself as an effective basketball player in high school.

Appearing in a total of 32 games for his Gonzaga Prep, he averaged nearly 8 points per game. He arrived at Gonzaga University as a student of the class of 2021.

Until now, Joe’s college career has been riddled with untimely injuries. Subsequently, he played only 13 games in his freshman year.

Although Joe was a role-player in his first season, he became a fan favorite whenever he entered games.

Following, he did not have any appearances in the 2022-23 season. Undoubtedly, the frantic nature of college football is taking its toll on Joe’s body.

Gonzaga fans and basketball hope the young star battles through his injuries and shows his talent on the college stage.

Regarding his physical features, he is 6’0” tall and weighs 170 pounds.

Dawning the number 15 shirt for the Gonzaga Bulldogs, he plays in the point guard position.

As for his personality, he is a hard worker and gives everything to his team.

Even though he has appeared for only a few games for Gonzaga, his positive attitude on the floor has endeared him to the fans.  

Overall, a talented basketball player coming out of high school, Joe’s college career has been a stop-start due to constant niggling injuries.
