Loretta Runyan, wife of former football guard Jon Runyan, has ventured into real estate and is currently enrolled in the Drayton Young Group.

Together for many years, the couple is proud parents to three children. Their son, Jon Runyan Jr., follows in his father’s footsteps as a football guard for the Green Bay Packers in the NFL.

Jon Daniel Runya had a diverse career as an athlete and politician.

He was born on November 27, 1973, in Flint, Michigan. Initially, he excelled in sports, particularly basketball, during high school at Carman-Ainsworth High School in Flint, Michigan.

However, he declined a basketball scholarship from Michigan State to pursue football at the University of Michigan, where he became an All-Big Ten Conference selection.

Later, the Houston Oilers selected Jon in the fourth round (109th overall) of the 1996 NFL Draft.

The player has had a successful career as an offensive tackle, notably playing for the Philadelphia Eagles and San Diego Chargers.

Following his football tenure, he transitioned into politics, serving as a U.S. representative for New Jersey’s 3rd congressional district from 2011 to 2015, representing the Republican Party.

After announcing his decision not to seek re-election to Congress in 2014, Runyan joined the NFL as Vice President of Policy and Rules Administration on May 17, 2016.

A former football player named Jon is happily married to his wife Loretta, who originally hails from Houston, Texas.

Loretta attended the Houston Police Academy and worked as a police officer in Houston for 11 years in various law enforcement divisions.

However, her life turned when she met Jon during his football career with the Houston Oilers.

They got married and eventually moved to Southern New Jersey when Jon joined the Philadelphia Eagles.

The couple then raised their children in the Moorestown Mt. Laurel region.

Now, Loretta works as a real estate agent. She pursued an online real estate program to further her knowledge in the field. 

Apart from being a mother and a working woman, Loretta is also involved in community activities.

She volunteers for local nonprofits and hosts fundraising events.

She’s especially committed to the Alzheimer’s Association of the Delaware Valley, where her husband serves on the Board of Directors.

The Couple Raised Three Athletic Children

Loretta and Jon have three children, Jon, Bella, and Alyssa Runyan, all of whom are involved in the world of sports.

Their oldest son, Jon Runyan Jr., currently plays as a football guard for the Green Bay Packers in the NFL.

He was selected by the Green Bay Packers as the 192nd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Jon made his NFL debut on September 13, 2020. Prior to his NFL career, he played college football at Michigan, primarily as an offensive tackle.

Similarly, their two daughters are also athletes. Bella is a senior year women’s basketball player at Villanova University.

on the other hand, Alyssa Runyan is pursuing a Master of Athletic Training degree at Thomas Jefferson University.
