Perez started his karting career in 1996 when he was just six years old. He was called “The Mexican Wunderkind” because of his performance and early age.

In his first year of the junior division, he won four matches and finished as the runner-up in the group.

This Mexican driver has competed on the racing circuit for more than ten years and has competed for several teams, including Sauber, McLaren, Force India, Racing Point, and Red Bull.

In addition to setting various records during his racing career, Perez was a former Formula One Grand Prix champion who won the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix.

Until the end of the 2024 racing season, Pérez holds a contract with Red Bull Racing.

Paola Perez Mendoza is the sister, and Antonio Perez is the brother of Sergio Perez.

Sergio is the youngest child of Antonio Perez Garibay and Marilu Perez, who was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, on January 26, 1990.

With Paola and Antonio as elder siblings, Sergio has spent his entire life with them. He goes by the moniker “Checo” among his family and friends.

Perez was raised in an enthusiastic racing family as his father, Antonio Pérez Garibay, was a former race car driver who made the transition from driving to managing other drivers. 

Perez announced the Checo Pérez Foundation in November 2012 to aid orphans and kids with cancer. The head of the charity is his sister Paola Perez.

Sergio Perez’s Brother, Antonio Perez, is a former stock car racer from Mexico.

His most recent race was in the NASCAR Mexico Series, where he was driving Jimmy Morales’ No. 1 Toyota. He won the NASCAR Corona Series championship in 2008.

Antonio started competing regularly in the Corona Series in 2006 and was named Rookie of the Year. 

He won the first race of his career at Autódromo Monterrey the following year. He captured the series title in 2008.

The Perez brothers, who both like association football, have admitted that they had contemplated quitting auto racing to pursue a career in the sport.

F1 driver Sergio Perez and his wife Carola Martinez got married in 2018. Together, the understanding couple has three children.

The third child of the Mexican driver and his wife Martinez, Emilio, was born immediately before the Spanish GP in 2022.

Sergio Perez Jr. and Carlota Perez Martinez are two of Perez and Martinez’s children. Carlota was born in 2019, whilst Perez Jr. was born in 2017.

Additionally, Carola’s occupation and when they started dating are still unknown. 

But because they are from the same nation, it’s possible that the two never had a problem getting along.

However, Martinez and Perez are far less open with the media and prefer to keep their private lives a secret from the general public.
