Jack Griese’s dad, Scott Griese, played as a defensive back for the University of Virginia. He is the oldest son of the Hall of Famer Bob Griese and a brother to Brian Griese, the 49ers quarterback coach.
The 6-foot-tall running back Jack Griese committed to UVA last year in January. Not only his dad but his mother is also a graduate of the University of Virginia.
Griese’s two sisters have stayed away from the sporting world. Despite, coming from a famous family, Scott has also tried to keep himself lowkey in the public eye.
Unlike his father, Bob, and his younger brother, Brian, Scott didn’t continue his athletic career. He earned his master’s from UVA, and it looks like now he is ready to see his son become the next football star of the family.

Jack Griese’s dad, Scott Griese, is a former collegiate football player, and that too for the University of Virginia. Griese, who is likely in his early 50s, played as a defensive back for UVA.
Scott is the oldest son of the former NFL legend Rob Allen Griese, better known as Bob Griese. Bob played all 13 seasons with the Miami Dolphins, and upon his retirement, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame and the Indiana Football Hall of Fame.
Scott’s mother, Judy Griese, passed away in 1987 when he was 17. She battled for five years with breast cancer, and during the end years, the cancer spread to her liver.
In an interview in 1988, Bob said it was Scott who took his mother’s illness the hardest on himself. With Scott away for school, he couldn’t spend much time with his mother.
He used to keep in touch with what was happening with his dad on call. His two younger brother also followed their father’s footsteps. Jeff Griese, the middle child, committed to North Carolina and played as a linebacker.
Scott’s youngest brother, Brian Griese, was drafted into the NFL in the third round by the Broncos and played ten years in the league. He is currently the San Francisco 49ers quarterback coach.

The UVA graduate met the love of his life while pursuing his degree at Virginia. After graduation, he soon tied the knot with Jennifer Griese.
Like her husband, Jennifer is also a UVA graduate and completed her master’s alongside Scott from the same university.
If Scott has kept himself away from social media, Jennifer is available on Facebook and has mostly shared pictures of her son dominating the sports field.
Jack isn’t the couple’s only child, as they are also parents to two girls- Renee and Claire. Renee graduated from Oklahoma City University in 2018 with a Dance Performance degree.
Renee currently resides in New York and is a fitness instructor for Pure Barre. She was previously a Judge in the show Legacy Dance Championships. Renne also works as a Dance Instructor for Brava Dance Center.

Like her older sister, Claire is an Oklahoma City University graduate and earned the same degree. She then enrolled at University College Dublin and completed her master’s in Cultural Policy and Arts Management last year.
Claire currently works as an event coordinator for Croke Park in Dublin. Before working as an event planner, Claire also became a charcutier during COVID.
She had a separate Instagram handle for her passion but hasn’t posted an update since December 2020. It seems Claire had hopped into the food board trend early, as it took over social media earlier this year.
