Ertz Becomes A Detroit Lion

Zach Ertz joined the Detroit Lions after carefully weighing his options following his departure from the Arizona Cardinals.

After recovering from an injury, Ertz looked for the proper chance to make a move.

The possibility of joining the Lions, a team in the NFC Championship game with a chance to win a ring, was tremendous.

Furthermore, the chance to work with head coach Dan Campbell, a former tight end, and reunite with his old tight ends coach Steve Heiden were important factors in his selection.

Ertz expressed enthusiasm about contributing to the squad in any way possible, emphasizing his commitment to earning his reps.

The veteran’s experience, which includes appearances in high-profile games such as the Super Bowl, is viewed as significant by the Lions, particularly given the team’s young roster.

Ertz’s experience with Heiden’s teaching style and confidence in the tight end’s ability influenced his decision to join the Lions.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his role in the NFC Championship game, Ertz is anxious to help the club and contribute well both on and off the field.
