Well, Trevor Immelman started playing golf at the early age of six after announcing his passion for the sport to his family.

Indeed, seeing him determined and happy, his parents supported him fully for it. Back were the days when they had no Internet and cellphones.

Immelman first started professionally in the field in 1999. Initially, he starred in the second-tier professional tour in Europe, where he was a full member in 2001. 

During his tenure on the European Tour, Immelman bagged four wins and became the first man to defend the South African Open title successfully.

Similarly, in 2003, Immelman took the WGC-World Cup’s victory for South Africa with Rory Sabbatini. Following it, he also claimed the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit in 2002/03.
