This year’s Super Bowl LIX was full of drama, from Taylor Swift’s viral side-eye looks to Eagles fans burning Chiefs jerseys after the game.

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 on February 9, 2025, at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The Eagles’ victory led to QB Jalen Hurts‘s first-ever Super Bowl championship and MVP title. However, it prevented the Chiefs from achieving their first-ever Super Bowl three-peat.

While NFL fans witnessed the Eagles’ victory, a drama surrounding Chief’s tight end Travis Kelce‘s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, and Eagles fans grasped worldwide attention.

After the game, some Eagles fans celebrated their team’s Super Bowl victory in the streets of Philadelphia by burning and ripping Kansas Chiefs jerseys while chanting f**k Taylor Swift.

The inhuman actions of some Eagles fans verbally abusing Taylor Swift were captured by many in the crowd and soon went viral across the internet.

A Ukraine-American journalist Oliya took to her Twitter to share the viral video and wrote, “F**k the Chiefs! F**k Taylor Swift!” Eagles Fans chant as they attempt to burn and then rip apart a Chiefs Jersey in Philadelphia during the Super Bowl.

In response to her post, many NFL fans expressed their views on Eagles fans’ actions.

While some supported the act, many expressed disappointment, stating Taylor Swift was only there to watch the game peacefully and genuinely support her beau, Travis Kelce.

One in the comment section wrote, “Just because your team won does not mean you should act crazy and tear apart your city.

Another requested Travis’ brother, former Eagles star Jason, and his wife, Kylie Kelce, to talk about this matter, stating,

“Unacceptable behavior. I hope both Jason Kelce and Kylie speak about it. It’s one thing to celebrate but to show such hate to someone not related to the game is cringe. I know this is your team but family is family, right? Taylor doesn’t deserve any of this.”

Similarly, many are stating that Taylor Swift is an Eagles fan, while some say that although they won the Super Bowl, their fans are some of the worst NFL fans.

Taylor Swift Also Faced Boos From Eagles Fans During The Super Bowl Game!

Before burning the Chiefs jersey and chanting abusive words to Taylor Swift, Eagles Fans booed in the game between the Eagles and Chiefs.

The Eagles fans booed her as her face appeared on the jumbotron inside the Caesars Superdome during a first-quarter timeout.

Sitting next to rapper Ice Spice, Swift looked confused and stunned by the boos, and the camera captured her now-viral side-eye looks with a slight smirk.

Since glimpses of her side-eye looks from the game went viral, several memes and GIFs have flooded the internet.

While some believed she didn’t deserve to get booed, many stated that she wasn’t just booed by Eagles fans but by everyone in the crowd, and she deserved it.

One humorously added, “Well, Swift will be writing another hater song tonight about getting booed.” In response, another added, “It will be called Boo-Hoo.”

Before the game, some Eagles fans printed a t-shirt with the hateful messageF**k Taylor Swift,’ which they intended to wear at the Bowl game.

A week earlier to the game, an NFL writer, Don Kleiman, revealed the controversial t-shirt choices with a nasty message with the Eagles logo, replacing the word “C” in F**k, “Y” in Taylor, and “W” in Swift.

The controversial t-shirt reportedly retailed for $22.99. Don Kleiman took to his Twitter to address the disgusting act.

He wrote, “Awful: Eagles fans have made shirts to give out cursing out Taylor Swift for the Super Bowl, There’s no place for this in sports.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship has been the talk of the town since they went public.

For the second consecutive year, the high-profile relationship between Kelce and Swift caused the game to be dubbed by some as the Swiftie Bowl or Swiftie Bowl II.
