Skylar Kierra Diggins-Smith is a professional basketball player for the Seattle Storms.

She has been with the team since 2024 and continues to make significant contributions on the court.

Recently, she has been competing in the Unrivaled 3×3 basketball league, where she has been a standout player for the Lunar Owls.

Skylar Diggins-Smith is married to Daniel Smith, a former University of Notre Dame football player.

The pair met each other while they were both attending the University of Notre Dame.

Although the exact information about their first meeting is not publicly available, their paths likely crossed during their college years between 2009 and 2013.

The couple got engaged in 2016 and married on April 29, 2017, at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.

They have two children together. Their firstborn, a son named Seven, was born in 2019.

They welcomed their second child, a daughter, in 2023. However, they have chosen to keep their daughter’s name private.

Daniel Smith Transitioned To a Career In Art After His Career Ended Due To An Injury!

Daniel Smith was born on July 16, 1991, in South Bend, Indiana, to Vicky and Robert Smith.

Standing at an impressive 6’4″, he was a wide receiver for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team.

During his football career, he achieved notable career highs, including two receptions for 14 yards against Purdue on September 8, 2012.

In his junior season in 2012, Daniel appeared in all 13 games, including four starts, and registered seven receptions for 47 yards.

During his sophomore season in 2011, he saw action in two games and recorded a tackle in a win against Navy.

In his freshman season in 2010, Daniel played in the final seven games. During that time, he registered one assisted tackle against Navy and recovered a critical fumble against Utah.

Unfortunately, his football career ended due to an injury. After his football career ended, he shifted his focus to art and now runs Doperman Studios art gallery in Dallas, Texas.

Additionally, he designs logos and clothing for various brands.
