Before becoming an All-Star, Corona native Jarren Duran struggled with depression and even tried to take his own life.

He shared this in a Netflix docuseries about the 2024 Red Sox, set to be released on 8 April.

He mentioned that he was at a point where he didn’t feel like being around anymore.

Duran explained that when asked if he meant with the Red Sox or in life, it was both.

He recalled a moment when he was alone in his room, holding a gun, and tried to end it all.

However, the gun didn’t fire, and Duran believes it was a sign that something stopped him from going through with it, though he still doesn’t know why it didn’t happen.

Amid the news about his past struggles, including his suicide attempt, his girlfriend has chosen to remain private and hasn’t made any public comments.

Kylie Granno Congratulated Jarren Durran While Hugging Him As Per An Instagram Post

In 2021, Joe McDonald from the Worcester Telegram & Gazette was the first to report the news, mentioning that Duran might make his Major League Baseball debut against the New York Yankees.

When the team hadn’t officially confirmed the promotion, Duran mentioned it by sharing a congratulatory post from his girlfriend, soccer player Kylie Granno, on his Instagram story.

“Beyond proud of you, so blessed to share this moment with you,”

Similarly, it was reported that professional baseball player Jarren Duran was dating Kenia Cortijo, a social media influencer and model from Puerto Rico.

However, there are no pictures that directly confirm this claim.

The only photo Jarren Duran has shared publicly was of him hugging Kylie Granno.

Since then, the two have not indicated whether they are still together, have broken up, or have simply chosen to remain silent about their relationship.

Though many people have been commenting on her posts about Jarren Duran.

Only two days ago, a user named Henry Clark211 commented that the MLB star was fortunate to have Kylie as his girlfriend.
