Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford’s wife once underwent a “mommy makeover,” a personalized combination of plastic surgery to restore the body after pregnancy.

Matthew and Kelly met at the University of Georgia, where Matthew played quarterback and Kelly was a cheerleader.

Following their college romance, they married on April 4, 2015, and welcomed twins, Sawyer J. Stafford and Chandler Page Stafford, on March 31, 2017.

Later, a few years after they welcomed their third daughter, Hunter Hope, on August 16, 2018, and then their youngest, Tyler, on June 26, 2020.

NFL Quarterback Matthew Stafford’s Wife Underwent Plastic Surgery in 2021 to Regain Her Confidence and Fresh Look!

After giving birth to her youngest child in 2020, Kelly Stafford underwent a comprehensive “mommy makeover” in 2021.

In medical terms, a mommy makeover is a personalized combination of plastic surgery procedures designed to address the body changes that occur after childbirth.

In 2021, Kelly discussed the procedures performed by Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher on her podcast, The Morning After.

On May 26, 2025, Kelly welcomed Dr. Fisher on her podcast and thanked him for the surgery, saying:

Dr. Fischer was my plastic surgeon out here in 2021, I believe, was the year. You know, I came to LA, got some plastic surgery. It was pretty great. But honestly, when I walked into your office, I felt so comfortable, which I think you give off this just aura about you that you’re calm-natured. I really think a lot of surgeons in general, whether it’s plastics or whatever, sometimes lack bedside manner. But this is why I love you and why I wanted to have you on. Thank you.

As per Kelly, her surgery included a breast revision, tummy tuck, and abdominal muscle repair.

Kelly also said that the goal of the procedure was not only to improve physical appearance but also to regain confidence and feel attractive again.

It is evident that Kelly has undergone certain procedures, which may not be clearly noticeable in her before-and-after photos, but the transformation is evident.

While Kelly openly shares that she has undergone multiple surgeries, she now lives a happy and fulfilling life with her four daughters and husband, still maintaining a glamorous appearance.

In Case You Don’t Know

  • In 2019, Kelly underwent a 12-hour surgery to remove a benign brain tumor (acoustic neuroma).
  • In 2009, Matthew was selected as the first overall pick in the NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions.
  • He was the fastest quarterback in NFL history to reach 40,000 passing yards at the time and recently moved into the top 10 all-time for career passing touchdowns.
