10-year-old Christian McKinney was brutally attacked while defending his 13-year-old brother from bullying at a neighborhood park.
According to reports, Christian was first struck with a pipe, leaving him in need of stitches.
In a later assault, he was body-slammed onto concrete, requiring emergency head treatment and a spinal tap.
The violence didn’t stop there; the attacker chased Christian’s brother as he sought help and even attempted to force his way into their home, confronting their mother.
Now awaiting trial, Ross’s actions have left Christian living in fear, while his single mother struggles to relocate the family to a safer neighborhood.

Christian McKinney is a bright 10-year-old fourth grader at AK Suter Elementary School in Pensacola, Florida.

In the confrontation, Christian was attacked severely and had to be admitted to the hospital.

Words of Power, a Facebook page, highlighted the seriousness of the incident, calling for community support to protect the family and demand accountability.
In addition, they are also asking for financial help through a GoFundMe campaign, “Support Christian’s Healing and Justice.”
The fundraiser aims to help cover his medical expenses, assist the family in relocating to a safer neighborhood, and offer emotional and practical relief during this difficult time.
