The couple first met at the writer’s event in Chicago. When the pair saw each other, they felt a connection instantly. After some time, they got engaged in February 2017.
At the time, Abby struggled with depression, prescription drugs, and alcohol abuse. According to Wambach, Doyle helped her beat bulimia, alcoholism, and drugs.
Glennon was previously married to Craig Melton from 2004 until 2016. Additionally, from her relationship with Craig, she welcomed three beautiful children.
Following the end of her relationship with Craig and Abby’s with Sarah, they tied the knot on May 14, 2017.
Nonetheless, Wambach, Craig, and Doyle are currently co-parenting the three children at the moment.

Abby Wambach was previously married to Sarah Eileen Huffman. Sarah Eileen Huffman is also a former professional soccer player who last played for Portland Thorns FC of the NWSL.
Huffman, also known as Huff, professional career started as a reserve member for the Washington Freedom, which won the 2007 W-League championship.
Later in 2008, she played for the Norwegian team, Roa IL, and helped the team win the Norwegian Women’s Cup.
Huffman was the first overall pick in the 2008 WPS General Draught and then signed with the Washington Freedom in Women’s Professional Soccer in 2009.
Moreover, she has represented her country in different levels, U-16, U-17, U-19, U-21, U-23 and senior women’s national soccer teams.
Sarah led her team to achieve the FIFA U-19 Women’s World Championship in 2002 and the Nordic Cup with the U-21s in 2004, 2005, and 2007.
